The JoyFoo Life!~

i earned $10!!! =) haha...this is the first time in my life that i managed to earn my own money..feel so happy! this morning, i first went to marsiling with tom..to see how he interacts with little children at the centre there..and also to learn some tips..afterthat, his friend rachel came..and we started playing with the kids..some of them were really shy, and when tom puts on the barney costume, i think the boys were more scared-ed by it than the girls! haha...the scene was very funny, kids screaming when they see "barney"... haha.hahaha.hahahaha. =P

then, we took a cab down to clementi..the host were very nice to us, welcoming us and offering us food..we got an airconditioned room, and that, was the place we can rest! we put on the costume on barney and went down to entertain the kids...some of them were a bit not responsive...but some were so active! haha..hmmm..wonder how was i when i was younger...=)

anyway, overall it has been a pretty nice experience...and to earn my own $10...SHIOK!

today i woke up and did something really good...i packed my MI files...so now i have a maths, chem and geog file...but the irony is, i woke up at 2pm...haha..in the end so hungry..have to crawl downstairs and buy food..think that for the next few weeks...i have to buy my own food alreadi, since i am not going school anymore ..soo sad..

oyes..just now went running with my little brother...ahhhh..i think better not say anymore..so long never exercise alreadi, i just ran about half a round or less when i started panting like mad..maybe coz i never eat..maybe the round is bigger..or maybe its night tts y...hmmm..ok la..its just mi..ahhhh i grown fatter....

anyway, i have decided...i will go running everyday for the nxt two weeks...to train up my stamina! may god bless me...=)

hmmmm..my kindergarden friend, xian hui is going to work tmr! hopefulli all goes well for him too!

i read this somewhere...found that its quite meaningful...a story abt lessons on life...=)

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So, he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no, it was covered with green buds and full of promise The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up. If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Moral of the story: Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to follow.

AHHH...fell into the drain in MI today...so lucky..last day and this had to happen....got a blue black on my ankle now...but its ok...can serve as a souvenir from MI..anyway going to withdraw le...hmmm....

oyes..xian hui made a bet with mi! [see i wrote ur name on my blog ...its so special now =P] if for the next two yrs i am still unattached, he loses the bet...wahahaha..i am so sure i will win...hee~!

OMG OMG OMG!! the results are finally out!

today<10feb> didn went MI...coz at 2.30pm this afternoon, it was time for the release of o's results...i was SOO nervous..but when i finally calmed down..my adorable sis just have to come and scare me...calling me "1 3 5 5 5 5 "...btw, these are the grades for my prelims. aHHH...then i ate my lunch and went to sch...the waiting time's so scary! when i reach school, my heart was almost jumping out lor!! met all my classmates which i didn see for so long..some of them changed..become prettier le..haha..

while walking in the sch, we saw our form teacher and went up to ask her how we did for o's..she said our whole class qualified for 2yr jcs!! whoa..at that instant, my heart was screaming for joy!! mi and my friend was jumping up and down! YEAH! but when the news was spread to our classmates..one horrible thought suddenly came to me. i mean two. no three. what if i get 19 pts? what if i fail my english? what if i did so badly that i couldn't go any good jc??AHH..it's such miserable thoughts...

so when my friends and i went up the hall to collect our results, i was already thinking..if i could get 18 i will be happy enough.....

the principal started talking abt our performance this yr...apparently we did well, but the no. of people who get 5distintions or more has dropped slightly, from 91 to 81. hmmmm..then the teacher in charge showed us how to apply for JAE, going into the net and warning us not to apply too late in case of a sudden jam..hmmm...and finally, it was TIME.

the names of the top 3 scholars were announced..and all came from our class!!! everyone in our class cheered like mad..and finally this time really, it was time for us to take OUR results. we went up by register no., and after only a while, it was my turn..my friend grabbed my hand and we wished each other luck. ok, my turn. my teacher gave mi a look which left mi clueless in what she was thinking. it was a smile though, or maybe a grin. i signed my name, collected my results, and took the newspaper.

i felt sudden calmness as i searched for my result. it was in between the JAE booklet. ok its here. somehow my brain just couldn't calculate the overall score for my o's. i pointed stupidly at the paper and asked my friend beside mi to help me check. when she turned to the second page where the overall mark was, she gave a shocked and suprised remark, "eleven?" huhh?? i look at where she was pointing and there it was, staring straight at me, the magical number , 11.

i didn noe if i screamed...but i think i did. i pulled the paper nearer to me and look at it. OMG it's really eleven!~! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! i blackout, and fainted.

haha just joking. i didn la. yea!! I DID IT!! after three weeks of serious studying I DID IT!!!! million thanks to all teachers in SMSS, and friends who've guided mi along during the hard days!love ya guys!!! =')
