took out the things they bought while i sat there feeling glad that FINALLY, the huge responsibility on my shoulder is lifted off...

but okii nxt day we went to yun nam haircare to get the free herbal treatment.

AND THEY FORCED US TO PAY MONEY!! $10.70!!!

considering that we got 2 free ginseng put on our hair, oki la not sOO bad.

when we first went in, and asked if everything was free, they said yes. (of course we knew they are going to ask us to buy their products, or sign packages, but we were determined not to)..a specialist then came to scan our hair, and EEEWW the image i see is now stuck in my head. my sis and my hair was infested with dandruff!! >.<..however during daily times, there was no sign of it unless i purposely go scratch my scalp. YEpss. YUCKs. so stage one, they ask us to deposit some money to "hold" on to the cheaper package of $500 for 5 treatments,specially designed for students. we keep declining, so they brought us to the treatment.

wow it was quite cool!! they served us tea and washed our hair, followed by applying ginseng(it felt cooling!! :) ) on our scalp..then steamed the hair for half an hour, and when everything was done, we were brought into this room with 2 ladies. *closes door*..

knowing what was coming, i still thought we could escape their clutches. but they started bombarding us with how much we need it. (and WOW our scalp look cleaner after the wasH!!)...we keep saying no..but after sometime, my sis asked..if we could just hold one package...with $10.. AHHHH!!I WAS SO RETARDED, i should have stuck to my stand, since i have the power to say no. but when my sis said that, i was somehow influenced a TEENy bit. (like oki it's just $10)...we still keep declining,and they were SOO lame can!! keep asking us if we got NETS, parents got credit card, etc..then say how can it be we come out of house with less than $20...and stuffs like that.

then we told them it's rEALL!!! and i said something like "we still have to buy bread home for my lil brother after dinner..with the lil money we have"..trying to look as pathetic as we can. =P.. but they kept on insisting still, WALAOOOO ....and finally, after 20mins, i was sick of their faces and just decided fINE. $10 to hold the package. and they said "okie..with 70cents service charge."..FCK.

although i did enjoyed the whole treatment on my hair, i don't like the tatic they used. of course, i have faults too, i could have been more firm la..but yeaa they were sOO bad!!wanting us to pay even though assuring us it was free.

i guess that's how business operate, esp if they are trying to sell a product.

but yeAA gave a black face and handed $10 AND 70cents on table. asked us to sign some receipt to acknowledge the free treatment, and oso something abt the $500 we plan to hold.

I dunno if we've been cheated, but if there's no bill of $500 coming to my hse this month, that means we have won. since the ingredient used was kinda ex.

BUT still i am still abit bu fu qi, that they managed to make mi agree to pay.(my sis commented my face was quite black towards the end of the "discussion"=P).. the nxt time i call in for such packages.muhahahha..i am sure i won't anymore. cos my sis and i have devised a plan, to bring just $6 to the centre. so there's no way they can force us again.

these few days have been rather hectic..with my parents overseas, and i got the grand honour to look after the house. >.<..what can i say?

it wasn't that grand after all. well and i learnt sOO much even though just 4days past.. ><..many realisation. first, in the past whenever it rains, i don't have to care the slightest bit and often just continue doing what i am doing, when my mum was shouting for help..wondering why she have to be so worried. then whenever we come home late, later than 12am,(raREE!!) she was often worried to the max..><..and starts using her mummy power to dig up all the friends' phone numbers somehow..and call them, leading to us feeling angry at times. and washed clothes always seems to automatically hang themselves to dry too!

don't get me wrong. i do do housework, but usually it's done whenever i am free(which 75% of the time i won't be..)..LOL.

BUT. now i know....
take for example, that fateful day, i decided to cook maggie for lunch, and all of a sudden it started to rain..sUPER heavily..i was in the middle of cooking la, and had to rush out to bring in the clothes i hanged up earlier the day. (2 HUGE paILS.) After finally getting everything in, n making sure i dun burn up the house, i finally sit in front of the table with a plate of maggie in front of me..N all of a sudden, i remembered that i forgot to feed the tortise and water the plants. =\!! ARGHHHH!!!!

then my sis haf to come home sOO late at night the nxt day, making me sOO super worried!! ><..and when i called up her and 2 of her friends and nobody picked up, worrying thoughts came to me.what if something bad happened to her? and i was the one responsible for her? started having many scary thoughts and wondered if i could ever be happy again if something did happen. prayed hard and started crying. AIYAA loll i know it sounds quite stupid now, but at that time i was so SCARED lA!! nobody at home, and i was the oldest. ='(!!

and finally i got through her and she said she will be coming home (3.30am).. !! and so about 4 plus, she reached home and we brought the money down to pay for her taxi fare.

ZZZ!what a SCARE!! at that point of time, i really seriously thought i would rather have boys in the future man! at least boys has less things to lose.

LOL! oki sounds wrong. hmmm ya but i think you get what i mean.

haha!for the first time, one of the rare times, i wore something hMM..kinda nice and sexy looking. =P..okie la actually it's just a halter neck top..but haha!! felt sooo nEW!! +) cos dun usually wear..

then it was raining like dunno what, so i ran for the bus thr the rain, and when i got onto it, man..i was looking super messy..seeing a whole gang of jc ppl on the bus wasn't exactly very nerve-calming..><

sOoO..had to keep my cool and quickly walk out of the bus when i reached the mrt..

lols!watched finished the whole "shu bao tai zhong" chinese drama till 4am yest..mUHAHAHA..woke up early today and went to tamp swimming complex to run with john..LOL...

it was quite terrible cos after only 3 rounds which he paced beside me, and me jogging at an extremely slow pace...i felt as if life was ending..>.<

i could almost feel all the accumulated oil from kfc,ljs,macs,carl's junior bobbing around inside..i was sOOOO weaK!!! >.<

after almost 2 years of no discipline in e area of health, i think it's time for a change.anyone who wants to jog/exercise with me in woodlands contact me yea!! =)

then went home to watch s factOR!! LOL it's such a funny show!!and for those who think it's a bimbotic show, with no brains involved you are wrong! ...it's really really funny!! and tested the girls in all areas..

HAHA then caught up with my jc friend for dinner, and went home to continue watching dramas...heh..the time is now 5am..and i've watched variety shows on kids, (how innocent and cute they can be)..and how things go when daddy has to look after the kids(and some failing quite funnily)..haha!!those career dads really nv touch housework one!! but all are still very loving!! =DD..wow..and they treat their wife with so much respect and love..AHHHH i really dunno what to say..super touched man!! :)

hahah i think family guys are very vERY attractive!! =) to choose between a super big house but with no communication between husband and wife and kids, or an average house with super lots of love floating in the air..i would definitely prefer the latter. =))..

however i wouldn't mind having both either. if life's so great..!=P

what's the point in living in a big house if there's no one for you to talk to??>.<..hmmm...maybe it's because i like to talk la. but all women likes to talk OKAY.haha...

lol..4mths of holidays..i am really not looking forward to getting a job..cos that will mark the end of my holidays..maybe i get part time job??but what?! ...and admin is soOOoOO boring....zZZZ...just want to stay home and watch drams till shiok then read storybooks...sleep..eat..exercise..wAa...that will be so fun..

it's been only 3 days since exams ended..but i am enjoying every min of it..=)!..

it felt weird at first though, like after so long of mugging, finally i can sleep long, watch tv, and go online whenever i want..but no worries, i think i can get used to it well. =PpP!!

hahah..after 8mths of not seeing him, suddenly we stopped quarreling all the time and now is on very peaceful terms..hahah i dunno about future though, but hope things will remain this way! :)

lol..okii a summary of the "last 2 papers!"...

....!!all the funny and unexpected qns came out la. my goodness..qns like "what is the additivity property of NPV?"..like DOTS..additivity property mean 1+1=2..how much can you elaborate.."what is opportunity cost of capital?"..it's a discount rate lo..i think i studied everything about the advantages, disdvantages, usage on bonds, stocks of NPV..but nv thought abt that qns lo..and second one abt discount rate, i didn't even think it was an issue, that's of course before i saw that qns.

ZZZ...so many ppl left the hall before time's up and mmm i think that tells alot..all the stuffs that came out in past 3yrs paper, and prelims never come out!!><.. left 12marks blank cos i really can't think of an ans..

however what's nxt was even worse. exams ended at 6 by the time i took a bus home and ate dinner, it was almost 9pm..feeling exhausted and tired out by all the memorising work i did over the days..i got a headache and took a nap till 1030..woke up feeling dam* emo that there's still one more paper(which i am so unprepared for) to study..

started mugging till around 3-4am cos and still couldn finish, woke up today feeling even worse cos i haven finish. all i had at that point of time, was the assurance that if i do my best, God will do the rest...=')..

mustered my last bit of energy..to continue my last min prep..>.<..

and went into the exam hall, macro went pretty ok, but not micro. lol micro question one was quite lousily done..and Q3 was messy beyond words.

WHY DO THEY NOT LET US USE LIQUID PAPER IN ECONS??!i seriously think they are sO.....!!i remb when i was in pri school, one teacher said it's because u may forget to fill in what u liquid away..hmmms..but hELLOoO??we need to draw graphs herE!! and it's 4 linked graph per question!! what if..what if i was nervous and my hand shiver then the pen destroy one graph?!then i need to redraw the 4 graphs??..lol which happened in my Q3..TWO times. which means i actually had to redraw 8graphs...SIAO. so i just handed up the 2 messy graphs.. hope they can read la.. ><

hahah yepps, that ends my exam stories..

thank God for everything, taking me through the struggles faced and being the motivation behind me..trust that whatever i get, it's decided by Him. :)..

POA. OMAN it's really a difficult papeR~! ><..at least harder than prelims i thought for the p&l bal sheet which is like 30 marks. but the worse is not the paper!! ..before the paper we were told to come earlier for temp taking,however there's no one who ushered us and most of us were lost and queueing in the wrong queue or sth..so we went down to level 1,and since my friends number was around 3000-4000,there was some confusion which they decided i should be at level one they at level 2..

so i was left at level one alone and i felt so lost!! >< asked around and realised i am suppose to go level 2 to take temp after some time, check my number against the row and holy cow, when i finally managed to get into the hall, it was 15mins later than it shld start and i realised my candidate no. is NOT my desk number.

feeling dam* irritated by the disorganised situtaion, i had to walk to the other end of the 2000-3000 capacity hall, to find my desk no. and walk all the way back. the only re-assurance we had was that they will wait for everyone to get seated before starting the paper.

the paper started 35mins later than it should, and by that time i was in kinda a bad situation. opened the paper and just blank out..kept on re-reading the qns but nothing could went in. was the worse feeling to feel in an exam!! >< started having lots of scary thoughts like maybe after this paper i will withdraw from uni or something, then maybe my future will be disrupted and i will just end up with an A level degree..AHHHH..i dunno how much time i spent staring in the space and felt like crying..

kept on praying that i will be oki and try my best to slowly write out the p&l bal sheet struture, after realising that i still can't do, i decided to move on to the nxt qns...at that point of time, i felt like oki,this is bad, but i can't fail cos it's $1500 per paper. =SSS..the thought of the cost made me continue doing ..and pheW!!! after i manage to balance a 16marks qns..things became to recover..

thANk God for the correct 16marks qns i managed to get it right miraculously..>.<..if not i really think i wouldn't have the mental state to continue doing the paper..=S.."if u wish to discontinue the paper for PERSONAL reasons..."..i guess that was what it mean..

hMMm wonder how i will do for the paper, but i am really grateful i managed to get that part correct..n moved on..

STATS paper.

hmmm..things were better since temp taking was scraped..the only thing is they actually announced that we are suppose to tie the graph paper to the ans booklet BEFORE the exams end..8min before the exams ended..

zZZZZ!! omg how can they do this la!! >< i was alr very kan chiong cos i was busy calculating the last qns..and trying to finish it, and have to stop to tie the paper..after the first try tying in the nervous state,i realised i din't tie the graph paper in..!! >< asked for a 2nd string and spent some time on the stupid string..knowing that i don have much time left, within 3min, i calculated the chi square value and concluded in a super ugly handwriting. i have never cal a chi square value in such a short time before ..and was pressing the poor calculator sOO fast and hard that it was a surprise it did not spoil.

PHEEWW...managed to kind of finish the paper..

LOL exams is like coming in a relative short time..like..3-4days?? and yet, the slacking chart is like directly proportionate with time. ><..ahhh why do i feel less worried as exams looms closer,and this is worrying. maybe it's because exams is ending!! =)..

as such i shall come up with a list of stuffs i should do after exams..(oops if it seems the wrong timing to have a plan)..

1.CLEAN the house. (AHHH we have thrown like 20 huge red bags out alr but there's still so many things which are unneccessary in the house..so yeeps i aM VERY determined to clean up the hse this time, cos i am 20 years old alr and everyone in the hse is free and have time to spare! +) i even thought of a theme for it!! "THROW." cool right! =)
2.pass my ftt!! (and learn driving IF i got money!!) anyone wanna hirEE temps??
3.watch many dramas.
4.exercise cos i can feel all the oil flowing through my body due to the crazy amount of fast food i eat per week. >.<

hehe and since the 9th activity takes up lots of time, i shall TrY to keep it a minimum.

ya!! wHEEE but lots of stuffs need money!! soo hopefully i find a job too..and everytime holidays seem to fly away with all the plans undone,so this time i shall try my best to keep to the plan!!

ahhh just went to watch the movie "taken" after church with deArY..ahh that show..really let me feel like we are so blessed, living in a safe country like singapore, with no killings which happens so many times a year..

it's a show about a dad spy who retired..and divorce(cos he spent too lil time with family)..and his beloved daughter wanted to go paris with a friend, so had to ask him to sign the consent form. after some "persuasion" by his wife who told him off for being too controlling, he reluctantly agreed. unfortunately, when the both of them reached paris, (17 and 19 years old)..they met a stranger and unnoticing told him their address after he subtly ask if he could share cab with them cos taxi fares are ex.>< so both of them got kidnapped and the dad went all the way trying to find her..

LOL there were so many killings scene!! >.< and it's a NC16 show..wow they actually let me through without checking my ic..(which i nv bring)..!haha i have grown more mature after studying econs.

wow and such a happy thing happened today! =) i paid up my building fund,(finally!~)..and felt a pinch cos i was kinda broke...but trusted that God will provide for me..

and went home and found out three great news.
1.my mum bought WALLS icecream and got a scratch card. which she scratched and won the grand price $888 which she have to spend in one day dunno when in the future..
2.my dad struck toto.
3.my mum struck toto.

=DDD..WOW. God is really great man...i certainly do not believe in coincidence. =)

is believing God for even more miracles..=')..

ahh and think i ate too much junk food these past few days..feeling really weak and having a sorethroat.. >.<..

zzz..think tmr may be a wasted day cos i might not be able to wake up at 10am,(and it's almost 2am now)..to fight with those lib users..
