ahh going freshman orientation tmr! :) wonder how it will be like!! mmm!! =O

hee! just reached home..went JAMS today to help out..JAMS (Jesus for All MindS)
being some ministry in church where those who are less intellectually inclined will goes to service and the ministry helps out..

first time being a helper there..reached and abit lost, then was asked to help buy masking tape..

then came back and askeed to give out rolls of pamplets into buses and guiding them to the lifts..

after i'd given out the pamplets, went up to join them for service..

waa..it was a very diff experience from normal service, as ppl sometimes will start shouting..and got one boy actually took of his pantS! >.<

but what touched me the most while i stood at the back of the room watching the service was when offering time came..and the speaker at the front asked who wanted to give offerings to God. the people there, though comparably less fortunate than us, waved their little offering in their hand excitedly, and put it into the small blue bucket. The faith they showed struck me hard as i stood there.

cos just a few days ago, i was fretting abt my school fees, wondering how =X it's going to be..maybe i even have to stop going out for gatherings..or any more social functions, for transport fees+ eating at restarants, going concerts, all need money.

i guess being in a 4child family means tt many expenses have to be cut down, you must learn to be contented with simple cheap stuffs, or rather get used to it, and many normal things like...eRRR pizza hut? yoshinoya(i lIkEEE!! :) ) are considered luxurious and will make me feel extremely satisfied. and my siblings too. :)..

of course i will still save, but yea, after the service, I know God will always be good, and won't put us in a state where we can't even afford to survive. to be even alive in this temporal body of ours which is going to rot in a few decades time, worry shldn't be part of life..

mm but lol saying is one thing but doing is another, i am quite a worry-aLoT person.

I got into SIM le!=) received the letter 2days b4..still remember that day, one day after NEOS camp..went for the SIM interview, and due to over-enthuness in camp where i shouted until i lost my voice, I sounded extremely..>.<

goes into the room and croaked.."good afternoon, sorry i lost my voice in camp yest, will try my best to speak properly*clears throat*" ..

hHAHA!=P

yea..and so the interview continued..and due to applying only at the 2nd round of application instead of the one in april, I am left with 2 choices, Diploma in Economics or Diploma in Social Sciences.

which i decided to apply for a dip in economics. This programme is sth like..u will take dip in 1st yr, go on to degree programme of ur choice in 2nd yr..and graduate in the 3rd year with both dip and degree..

yupps..

soo during the interview, told them actually i wanted to take the degree course, but application closed, which the interviewer bombarded me with qns why didn't i chose SIM the first round.

luckily for me, that very morning b4 i went for interview, mum called from overseas, and while still sleeping on the bed drowsily, dunno y.. I asked her what i shld say if they asked me why i din't choose SIM the first time.

wOWw..

think it worked.. =))..

now i am offered with Diploma in Economics AND the degree programme!~~ =)) and the best thing is!..loll it's not just the accounting and finance degree..is all 6 degrees they offered!! sO i can just tick the one i like..! =))!! but haha of cos i going to choose accounting and finance still, just..more shoik!! =P

hehe really thank God for tt! helping me to somehow asked my mum the qns at the right moment, and saying the right things during the interview..and also for the admission committee to be so nice and offer me everything..heee!!believe it's really not by me tt happened, but by His grace =))

haha..God is gREAT, all the time! and all the time...God is greaT! =0)

omy..i just thought of my past..

was asking ppl to do the quiz on my previous post..and something came to mind..

was talking to pri sch friend and he chose "introvert" as one of the choices..said i seem so when i was in pri sch..

and i suddenly remb!! oyAAA..i really wasS leh lONGGG time agoo!! ..=PP forgot alr..hmm maybe nt introvert but super extremely quiet in class.

wHEEe I am back!!=)) finally got the energy to blog..hahha!

lol..the past few days, was..fUN!!! =D

started out with us meeting in service on sat with out huge bags..and going off for dinner together. As I needed some cash, me and shihui went of to search for an atm, but ended up being attracted to the huge varieties of stuffs the pasa malam sells.. =P soo stopped there for quite a while, before being brought back to earth, and went back to finding the atm, where there was a veri long queue..oOPSS =P

then went to jurong jc..and something happened to the vending machine there.

As I wanted to get myself a choc cake, I put in some $$ and dunno why, the cake got stuck and din’t wanted to come out..so I put in another amt of $$, hoping the 1st cake will push the 2nd out, but the 2nd one was stucked in the end!=X so aheM* started banging the vending machine, and after a while, the cake finally emerged. =P!! heh think we were making a lot of noise.. =P

When everyone was gathered, we went to the hall for briefing..I was put in the blue team, LEMNOS~! And our group named L3 =))

wHEEe..after the briefing, the games started!

One of the station games was the spider game, where we were suppose to transport a few light ppl across, I wasn’t spared as I sEEMED light, as so was brought across. aHH think I looked very scared la! =X..(hmm actually I am very heavy one)…

haha ya! sOO we won that game and several after, before going to LT5..

lolss by the time we finished praying, it was already 2+ am!! Went to bathe and unfortunately, the queue was super long and most of the girls went off to bed at around 4.30am, while the guys 3am. =X!!

woke up at 6.45am in the morning, and flew to the toilet to wash up before assembling at the parade ground.ZZZ!! Did some morning exercise, and cheers before going for breakfast.

AHH!! I LOVE THE MAHJONG CHEER!! +)))

Heheh..after breakfast, the station gaMEs started!! aND wOWWW it wASS sUPERR fun!! =))) L3 won all the games that day!(losing only one).. and we were running all around the school being high!=P really had lots of fun cos usually, I will be in a group looking at other “vvv high” groups being especially high, but this time it was ours! aND hahaha~ the feeling of winning is gOOD! =)) our team members rawKS!! aLL soo lame and funny..hahah!

Well basically for the 2nd day I was high the whole day..and the concert held in the late afternoon wAS NICE~!!=) jasmine thye(the Singapore idol 2nd runner-up) came, along with few others populars singers..wheee! playing with the lightsticks in the dark hall is fun!! The campfire at night finally came, and the exhausted germs hit me,& I lost my voice, and was feeling kinda running-nose sick..

LOL the campfire brought back memories of guides, while we sang the opening campfire songs, gako geko piong and the thousand legged worm song..and friendship dance!=))..

Took some pics with our group mates(some wasn’t there,sadly)...and by the time campfire ended, I think my batt was running low..with 80% of my voice gone..

Haha! Went back home and reached home at 12plus am..and KO instantly.

Woke up the nxt day on Monday and rushed down for aheM..mm sth I will mention again nxt time! =P and yea..

WhEEEEE cAMPP’s fUN!! =D..din’t managed to stay till the very end cos I was really sick and exhausted..AHH! think I’ve never been sOO tired after a camp b4!! =)) hahha..maybe I am growing old…hmmm…

=P…HEH…and today..oops suppose to go work, but had cramps in the morning and throat was feeling horrible..soo..yea :P

Did I mentioned I went to watched sex in the city yest with deAr?

=))! Hehe nicEE!...

Wheeee….looking forward to nxt camp..*goes off to eat lunch*..i sOO wan to eAt ZINGER! +))
